It’s a new year and we’re happy to be presenting issue #25 of the Underground Writers zine, featuring more fantastic work by a selection of creative writers from around Australia.
Our work this issue includes poetry from Ion Corcos, Jasmin Seabrook-Benson, Scott-Patrick Mitchell, and Wendy Lichtenberg. Our short stories comes from Christos Sevastidis and Paul J. Laverty, and editor Jessica Gately reviews Rachel Watt’s post-apocalyptic novella Survival, as well as bringing us an interview from Sarah Madden, author of magical realist memoir Blue in the Red House. Our gorgeous cover art is from Alisa Dempster (follow her on Insta @trexia.art), who also created the artwork for our 22nd issue: Pop!
